How to Throw an Amazing Halloween Party on a Budget
I Threw A Costume Princess Themed Halloween Party.
My little girl is now 3 yrs old a time like this can be so exciting and sad at the same time. I truly have mixed emotions about my baby becoming a big girl. This birthday I wanted to do something different since she is fully aware of what birthday party means. My husband and I through an amazing Halloween Party on a budget.
THE PLANNING PARTY WAS FUN AND EASY, SINCE I ORGANIZED EVERYTHING IN MY BULLET JOURNAL.
I use this bullet journal for just about everything such as tasks, notes, inspirational writing and events into a single organized system.

If you don’t own one yet, download this free printable. It’s a guide to planning events that I use to make sure nothing is overlooked and forgotten! In order to stay on a budget, I picked items that were on the list.
INVITATIONS
There were two types of invitations that I distributed for the Halloween party. The modern electronic version and the throw back paper style.
The electronic invites were made on Evite.com . The process was very simple. I had the option to choose a free or Premium online invitation. Once I picked the invite that fit my theme , I just filled in all the event details and provide any additional information in a personal host message. Then I tracked RSVPs, managed the guest list.
The Dollar Store invitations were great for local and daycare children. The invitations came 8 in a pack so we brought Halloween sticker and placed them inside just to add the Halloween feel. While at the dollar store I referred to my list and picked up necessary items that were inspired by Pinterest.
DECORATIONS
I have provided a link to the Pinterest inspired decorations. The decorations were easy and affordable.
Lollipop pumpkins were created from the dollar store orange party streamers. I just wrapped the paper around the tootsie roll lollipops then drew on their faces.
Next stop,…Party City. You may think this store is expensive but there are lots of great finds such themed birthday parties, supplies in a set, and games. The candy selection at Party City is amazing and was a must have for the candy and gift table. The candy table had little bags so the kids can make their own gift bags. The Halloween items at Party City was 30% off when applied the coupon from the snip snap app. So we picked up costumes and decorations too.
FOOD AND DESSERTS
The food was simple just used my app Flipp to see where the deals were for the food on the list. The food idea was also from my Halloween Themed Kids Party Folder on Pinterest.
