7 Steps to Reinvent Yourself when Life Gets in the Way
What are you willing to do to reinvent yourself, step into your highest self, and claim the life you desire?
We all have dreams, visions, and callings that stir within us. For some, it’s a longing for deeper love, financial freedom, or a career that aligns with their soul’s purpose. For others, it’s about embracing their spiritual gifts, cultivating divine feminine energy, or simply living a life of authenticity and joy.
Whatever it is, the journey begins with you. It begins with a decision to step into your power, to honor your divine essence, and to create a life that reflects your truest self.
It’s time to shed the old versions, the masked version, and the layers that have covered your authentic desires.
What Does It Mean to Reinvent Yourself?

To Reinvent Yourself is to
Align your thoughts with your higher self’s vision
Align your thoughts with your higher self’s vision- Shift your behaviors to match the energy of the woman you desire to become
- Open yourself to new levels of abundance, confidence, and ease
- leaving a job
- ending a relationship
- moving to a different home
- having a child
- death of a loved one
- Personal Development Podcasts or Courses like MindValley
- Read tons of books or Audiobook to motivate you –11 books every girl boss should read and for more divine feminine energy read these 7 books
- Have Supportive Likeminded Friends- you can join some Facebook groups that align with your current goal, watch productive YouTube channels, or sign up for programs with a community. When I took my quantum healing certification there was a group of women who wanted to create a profitable business ( now I have an accountability partner I meet with 1 a week)
- Journaling/Planner. I have both because I have a scatterbrain, so the planner keeps me structured, but the bullet journal allows creativity. I have the Rose Gold Clever Fox Journal
- Daily Affirmations this can be done by listening to nighttime self-concept meditations or writing down each morning in your journal.
- Use a block schedule to manage what you do when
- Grab a brain dump so you can know what needs to be done
- Use a productivity sheet- to schedule down to the hour.
- Your thoughts create your reality. If you keep telling yourself, “I’ll change when I have more time/money/support,” you’ll stay stuck. Instead, affirm:
- I love positive affirmations
- Meditation
- Visualization
- Practice growth mindset 25 Ways to Develop a Growth Mindset | InformED
- Schedule a session with me for deep clearing, reprogramming, and healing.
- You don’t need perfect circumstances to reinvent yourself. You need resourcefulness. Instead of focusing on what you lack, ask:
“what is it that holds you back from living the life you envision?
“Who can I learn from?”
“What things can you set in place today that will help you tomorrow?”-

Do you Need to Reinvent Yourself?
You may not need to create an entirely new you, but you may want to change the way you go after your ideal life.
There are always times when we should reinvent ourselves, especially with significant changes that push us to new outcomes. For example,
These are major life changes that can impact who you are, so finding a new way of thinking will prevent you from getting lost and failing to reach your potential.
Pay Attention to the Journey
I remember when I would have the same problem that seemed to arise in cycles. One year I’ll have a great year; everything is going great, and my needs are met. But the following year seemed like a disaster. I felt like I needed to make changes, but I initially didn’t know where to start.I noticed the patterns that I was experiencing which helped me see my way out. Which is not that easy when life is life-ing.
You may feel as though there were so many things getting in the way of your goals and reaching your full potential.
Especially, when you have kids, a full-time job, have to manage juggling your home and then you need to fit in other personal growth and physical things. So slowing down and surrendering is the first way to notice these patterns that need to be sorted out.
For example, what is your relationship with money and the patterns you have that keep you from getting out of debt? What are the mindest patterns? Unhealthy money habits? And how can you change them to create new habits with money so you can have financial freedom?
Once you take a fine comb through your life. Reflect on why you continue your current actions and what will motivate you to change your behavior, mindset, and programming.
So, if you have the vision of being debt-free, what is it you need to learn in this specific journey of your life? You shouldn’t try to do it all because that may cause overwhelmed. Just start with one topic and one habit.
Now that you have figured out your why, identify your how.
What would make the biggest impact on your journey? Let’s start chipping at the unwanted identity. To make life easier, I have put together things that worked for me so it can help you grow quickly and reinvent yourself.
1. Learn How To Make Confident Decisions

Confidence is not something you’re born with; it’s something learned. Some people have more confidence and belief in themselves than others because our past installs a lot of the thought processes and learned behaviors.
“The formation of our self-esteem throughout childhood is influenced primarily by three factors. Physical appearance, our behavior, and our academic performance. How our parents handle these three dimensions can encourage us to grow in security and confidence. If they don’t show this, it can cause helplessness, loneliness, and fear”.– cited from The Influence of the Family on Our Self-Esteem
So, if you don’t have a supportive family dynamic or you have developed a fixed mindset, then it will be common to second guess yourself, not trust your intuition, and don’t believe you have what it takes to change.
It’s a place that I am familiar with, and I had to take baby steps to grow my confidence and believe in myself.
Just like I did, I want you to change that.
I want you to work on being confident and feeling powerful in yourself and fully trust the universe to provide. To truly change the way you feel about yourself you must look into your core wounds, which are the wounds you received from childhood to adulthood that changed your perspective of yourself and others.
For example, imagine you were a child who enjoyed dancing but your friends made fun of you so you stopped doing it, even though it was something you enjoyed. You know perceive the world through the lens of judgments so you no longer put yourself out there. These core wound needs to be address and handled with care. It can be through therapy or quantum healing.
2. Identify What Important To You

Identifying what’s important to you allows you to think about life with you being a priority instead of the aftermath. For me, it wasn’t until I wrote a post on personal core values that I realized my values have a lot to do with my goals in life. And although I value myself, I wasn’t showing up in my daily actions.
So the next step is to take a moment to identify your personal core values.
And don’t allow the limited belief of time to keep you from doing things for yourself. You don’t need to wait until time is available. Instead, you create space for yourself. Because time won’t wait for anyone!
You decide at this moment that you will not be the person stuck in the same position year after year.
Today you will make small steps to reinvent yourself. So, put it on a calendar and just get it done. Tell yourself you have 20 mins and do it!
3. Identify Your Goals and Why

Yes, anyone can make a goal.
I want to make a million dollars in 2 weeks.
But is your goal realistic? Come on. Can you really make a million in 2 weeks? If so, please share it with the rest of us! ( I know it is possible if there are no limited beliefs)
Next is to figure out if your goal aligns with your values. See if they match up. There is no need to try to achieve a goal that doesn’t represent who you are.
You are looking for personal growth and reinventing yourself on your own terms, not setting goals society tells you that you should.
I remember a friend of mine who told me she went to college because her family said she should. After all, it should be a job that is secure and safe. After all, her actual drive was entrepreneurship, which wasn’t stable or reliable at all.
When she started her job, she was not happy or motivated to go to work every day.
The problem was those values were put on her by her family, but they were not hers.
She valued adventure, growth, and making an impact.
So, she finally decided to quit her job and start a youth foundation to empower kids.
Now she is happy, and the positivity keeps her vibration up, which allows other positive things to enter her life.
The moral of the story is to set goals that are important to you and identify why you have them in the first place so you can reinvent yourself by being authentic.
4. Find Ways To Keep You Focus

Reinvention requires focus. Surround yourself with energy that lifts you higher—mentors, communities, and rituals that keep you aligned.
Things that keep me focus
5. Refine Your Schedule and Manage your Time

Everything you do boils down to having time.
It’s the only thing we can’t buy more of, save for later, or pause it. So, having a good system in place will allow you to maximize the time you have.
Being efficient is big for me because, with three kids and a full-time job, time is limited. I learned and taught others how to manage their days intuitively. Every day is not the same and each day has a different energetic pull. So creating days that allow flow and ease is by far the most important.
As people, we want a balanced life…. to have fun with our kids, work less but get paid more lifestyle, right?
But honestly, balance is designed and has a lot to do with your current mindset and your nervous system capacity.
You have to be honest with yourself and understand that you can’t be everywhere all the time. Or help everyone everywhere. Right now your priority is YOU.
Tips to Create More Flow with Time:
Create a system to help you get more done!
These are a good place to start especially if you don’t know if you’re coming or going.
6. Get Your Mind Right
“Today is the day. I will one thing with ease.”
” I am making change each and every day.”
” I am capable of growth and success.”

7. Become Resourceful
You don’t need perfect circumstances to reinvent yourself. You need resourcefulness. Instead of focusing on what you lack, ask:
I want to share something I learned from Tony Robbins on YouTube, that made me think.
First, you must identify your limited resources. Is it TIME, MONEY, EDUCATION, or LACK OF SUPPORT?
Support is knowing the right people, getting advice from others who were there, and/or accountability partners.
Based on that answer, how can you become more resourceful? How can you use what you HAVE to get what you want?
There is always someone who is missing something and still makes moves.
Tony said he grew up poor and with limited resources, but he was resourceful.
Resourceful: having the ability to find quick and clever ways to overcome difficulties.
Dannnnggg Tony, that deep.
During my spiritual journey to become the woman I knew I was, I realized that support is not always physical and that my spiritual team is always available. I also realized when the women I work with tap into their divine essence, then they are capable.
Final thoughts
If you want something, get it.
When you feel you need change, try to identify the factors getting in your way and find ways to combat them.
I understand how life can throw curve balls that cause you to lose yourself or focus on your end goals. But, remember, this is your life.
Although you may experience negativity in your past and stress in your current life, there is no time like the present to reclaim and reinvent yourself.
Change is hard, but change is necessary for growth.
What are your goals?
