6 Tips to Create an Intuitive Miracle Morning Routine
Do you ever feel like you need a miracle morning makeover? As a mom, it is easy to feel like the mornings are not giving you the energy you need to complete the day or pushing you to live in growth.
Most morning routines sound great, but they do not cater to the life of a mother. Our time is bombarded by children and other people’s needs. However, it is essential to set the stage for your day so you can create a wonderful day and live in the moments.
Your morning routine helps you fill up your cup and create a boundary that prevents the little things from setting you off. In this blog post, I will provide a guide to creating a morning routine that works for busy, intentional, productive, or overwhelmed moms.

Tips to set you up for success
Wake up earlier than your family
Waking up earlier is essential, especially if you have children. For most moms, waking up earlier than their family is the only time they get to themselves. Even if it’s just 10 minutes, use that time to enjoy a cup of coffee or tea, meditate, or do some light stretching. Whatever it is, use the time to center yourself and get mentally prepared for the day ahead.
If you have an early riser or can’t get up early, just let them have some quiet time doing whatever they enjoy – reading a book, listening to music, playing with toys, or even watching TV. We’re not aiming for perfection here, we’re just setting the stage for you.
My youngest is an early riser, so even when I try to get up early, she wakes up, too, go figure. I often tell her to find something to do, like go noodle, play with her toys, or watch one show on TV until I call her. And you know what? She’s completely fine with that, which also gives me the chance to take care of myself.
Now that you’re up, let’s switch things up a bit. Instead of focusing on what you should add to your morning routine, let’s start with a short list of things you shouldn’t do.
Don’t look at your electronics first thing in the morning. I mean, I know people always say that, right? It’s because you’re in your own vibrational energy, your own zone. When you start scrolling or checking the news or your work schedule, you’re just bringing unnecessary energy into your space. Your morning should be all about you, focusing on yourself and not the outside world.
Don’t just lie there daydreaming. I know it might sound relaxing, but when you let your mind roam, chaos creeps in. You start thinking about everything that needs to be done, what you have to do, or worse, what you forgot to do. Let’s not let our mind be in control, but instead, let’s lead with our heart, soul, and body.
Don’t sabotage the day! Remember, this is for you, not anyone else. So, let’s not let yourself down. No more “Maybe I’ll start tomorrow or on Monday” or any other excuse. Today, you are the priority! Let’s do this!
Ok, now let’s jump into the fun part.
6 things to create a miracle morning routine under 30 mins
Simple ways to create an effective morning routine in under 30 minutes? Here are six things to include in your routine to start your day on the right foot.
Make your Bed (3 min)

Making your bed is a quick win. It makes you feel like you accomplished something and sets up your day for the organization. Plus, who doesn’t love a nicely made bed? You can even light a candle, audiobook, or listen to music while you’re doing it.
Body Movement (10 min +):

Movement is essential to starting your day on the right note. Even if you cannot commit to a full workout, a little movement can go a long way to improve your physical and mental well-being. It can be as simple as a few stretches that help to loosen your muscles and connect your mind and body. Don’t forget your hydration!
My top go-to right now is..
I usually follow Black Yogi Nicole Marie, and Chloe Ting. If I’m in a rush in the mornings, I’ll do a quick 10-minute video. But on the weekends, when I don’t have to rush the kids off to school, I can take my time and do a longer workout.
Daily Meditation ( 5+)

Make it a habit to meditate daily for 5 minutes or more. It’s a great way to clear your mind, find your center, and open yourself up to new possibilities. Leave yesterday’s energetic baggage behind and start your day fresh!
Personally, I like to meditate after working out because I’m already in a cool-down mode. But you might find it better to meditate as soon as you wake up. Just so you know, meditation and daydreaming are not the same thing. Meditation is all about calming the mind and being present in the moment.
I completely understand how challenging it can be for moms, but let me share my secret. Whenever those thoughts arise, I remind myself that this time is for me. And just like that, they vanish into thin air. You see, we often confuse self-sacrifice with love. But here’s the thing: taking care of ourselves is not selfish; it’s necessary. It’s what allows us to truly care for others. So let’s prioritize self-care, because we deserve it, and it’s the key to being there for our loved ones.
My go-to for mediation is
Express Gratitude ( 3 Mins):
After meditation, go STRAIGHT into either writing out a list of 3- 10 things you’re grateful for to amp up your frequency.
It is easy to get caught up in the negative energy around us, but reflecting on the things you are grateful for can help shift your mood, create a sense of appreciation, and set the tone for abundance for the rest of your day.
Take a moment to list three things you are thankful for, no matter how big or small. I currently use the app Gratitude Plus, which sends me reminders. But a gratitude journal works great, too, because it often has affirmation sections.
Positive Mindset ( 3 mins)
Affirmations are a great way to change your mindset and set the tone for your day. Repeating a simple message that aligns with your intentions can help you stay focused and motivated throughout your day. Choose an affirmation that works for you, such as “I am capable. I am worthy. I am enough.”
Positive affirmations for mom miracle morning routine
- I am strong: This affirmation serves as a reminder of your strength and resilience, especially in challenging situations.
- I am doing my best. Which is Remember, perfection is not the goal; it’s enough to do your best as a mother.
- I am patient and understanding: This affirmation helps to foster a sense of patience and understanding, which is crucial for interactions with your children.
- I am a loving mother: This affirmation reinforces the love you have for your children and your ability to express it.
- I am appreciated: Remember that your family values and appreciates you, even if it’s not always evident.
- I am creating a nurturing home: This affirmation highlights your important role in creating a warm, loving environment for your family.
9 Positive things about yourself
If positive affirmations just don’t work for you or it’s not making you feel amazing like you are, then write out 3 things you love about yourself, 3 things you’re proud of, and 3 things you look forward to. This will definitely show your self-worth and show yourself love.
Review Your Goals and Set Intentions (4 min )

Now, you can take a few moments to review your goals or vision board and set intentions for the day. This will help you stay focused and motivated throughout the day. If you really want to feel productive, write down your top three priorities or tasks you want to accomplish and keep them visible throughout the day as a reminder. This will help you stay on track and feel accomplished when you complete these tasks.
Not a day goes by that I don’t look at the vision board on my laptop wallpaper.
I have a working mom planner and bullet journal to stay productive.
Conclusion:
Creating a morning routine as a busy mom can be difficult, but setting the tone for your day is essential. Incorporating the six elements mentioned can help you start your day with focus and intention. Remember, your morning routine should be something that makes you feel great, and it can include a little bit of everything. Whether you vary the elements according to your schedule or stick to a tried and tested routine, having a morning ritual can help you start your day on the right note and create a wonderful day.
