Giving up or giving in is not an option. Find effective ways to deal with stress when you Burnt Out! #stressedout #thereisaway #reducestress #trustinyourself Click To Tweet#1 Thing Is To TRUST YOURSELF!
It is during those tough times you need to reach out for help and find resources that can aid you. Actually, we already possess the things we need to help us get through; it is called your intuition.
The subconscious noise is real. Most of the time, people tend to ignore or dismiss those inner thoughts.
But, the true goal is to tap into them and listen. There are several effective techniques I use when I am in that space.
You know that space… when things are not going your way, or there is too much on your plate. You have to look in so that you can correctly address the issue. It starts with trusting yourself and the answers within.
Keep in mind, depending on your struggle; you would resort to different resources.
# 2 When Burnt Out Read a good Self-Help Book
When You Can’t Recognize Your Inner Thoughts Or Don’t Know Where To Begin, Then Start By Reading.
I am a true advocate for a good self-help book. Some of my favorites are…
- As mentioned on my about page here Steve Harvey’s book ( good for understanding your purpose)
- God Never Blinks: 50 Lessons for Life’s Little Detours (When you’re going through overall tough times)
- How to Win Friends & Influence People Dale Carnegie (Looking for success and tired of being clueless)
- The Secret by Rhonda Byrne(New way to look at your life)
- Eat, Pray, Love by Elizabeth Gilbert (Feeling lost in other people lives and need to find yourself)
- Dave Ramsey ( To get your finance in order)
See self-help books are important because that gives you a perspective that you may not have before. You can learn just about any topic through reading.
Not a reader: try audiobooks. It allows you to dive into a good book while cleaning the house, folding clothes, driving in the car, or putting the kids to bed.
# 3 Read Inspirational Quotes or Listen To Music.
You can search Pinterest, Google, or just about anywhere to find great quotes. I will share a few of my favorites that you can add to your computer screen saver, be printed, or as notes on your cell phone. Basically, anywhere you will come across it for inspiration. I have a few in my office/cube.
This s good way to boost your motivation, raise your vibrations, and remove negativity from your life.
# 4 Physical Movement helps when Burnt out
I love Tia Mowry’s Yoga with Tara Stiles DVD. I also watch Tara Stiles yoga channel on YouTube. Yoga techniques help clear my mind, relax my body, and replenish my soul. These techniques I find very efficient when I am feeling burnt out.
So when that worry creeps up in your mind. Where am I? How did I get here? When will this end? Why am I not where I want to be?
Remember that although the fog or some cases a storm my derail you from your path, the most important goal is standing tall, picking up your resources, and seeing your way through.
Unfortunately, there would be other storms ahead, but with gratitude, focus, and a plan, you will be just fine. 🙂
