3. Minimize Guilt
Guilt a feeling of having done wrong or failed in an obligation.
Someone, please explain to me why guilt is it so heavy?
Its as if anytime I decide to do something for myself I feel guilty. Especially, if the kids are not included or my husband has to watch them for an extended period of time.
You know that feeling…
The guilt that talks to you in your head. And guilt tries to convince you what you’re doing is selfish. That you’re not doing this for the better of your family, but you’re just doing it for you.
To be successful, you need to silence the noise. You need to make it shut up!
How do you ask? By creating a different version of the story and tell you the one you created.
For instance, say you would like to head to the coffee shop so that you can work on the outline of your clothing line. In order to do that you have to leave the kids with someone else or your husband.
Instead of…. saying maybe I should wait for a better time when everyone is occupied, at school, work. Or doing anything, so they don’t feel resentment for you not being around.
You tell yourself that you deserved time alone because in the end, a happy mother would be in a better position to give her family love, happiness and compassion. Or when you come from the coffee shop bring donuts and pastries home to ease the guilt.

6. Set S.M.A.R.T Goals AND Uncomfortable Goals
Successful Moms don’t only make SMART goal, but they act on them.
You should use your “SMART” goals (“Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, Time-oriented”), as a motivational outline to where you want to go in life.
Don’t let the bigger picture paralyze your movement or completion of your larger goals. Instead, think and work like successful people, who understand the importance of goal setting is never to stop. Instead, you must continue leaping from one step to the next step until you land onto your goal.
By breaking your large goal into small bite-sized goals, you are likely to keep up the momentum.
Once you begin to build confidence in your goal setting strategy, then you should start to add goals that make you uncomfortable. Goals that you set so high that you have butterflies in your stomach. It’s these uncomfortable goals that bring success in life. To find out more about more read The Only Time You Are Actually Growing Is When You’re Uncomfortable

8. Successful Mornings–Wake up Early
Do you wake up early?
Early riser has an advantage of getting the important task out the way long before distractions come such as getting caught up in the everyday hustle.
Why wake up early over going to be late you ask? Waking up early in the morning allows you to be more effective because you can focus on your priorities during the day. And be present with your family for the remainder of the day.
For example, if you have 3 very important things to do such as email client, schedule the next appointments and finish writing a blog post.
Then getting up early allows you to tackle those priorities and have the rest of the day to enjoy your family. Otherwise, the entire time you are hanging out with your family, you will be thinking about things on your to-do list which leaves you distracted.
9. Meditate/Journal
Even when life is extremely busy successful moms find time to Meditate and Journal.
Keeping a journal allows you to write down the things important to you and reflect positivity in your life.
Many successful people share how writing things down bring abundance.
It’s the gratitude in life that allows successful moms to acquire more and give you time to meditate.
An awesome app to download to help meditate and practice gratitude is Calm. It’s peaceful and also offers guided meditation.
10. Successful Mindset
In an interview on Harvard Business Review, Carol Dweck explains how different mindsets can affect your true potential. He clarifies by stating, ” Let me start with a fixed mindset. A fixed mindset is when people believe their basic qualities, their intelligence, their talents, their abilities, are just fixed traits. They have a certain amount, and that’s that. But other people have a growth mindset. They believe that even basic talents and abilities can be developed over time through experience, mentorship, and so on. And these are the people who go for it. They’re not always worried about how smart they are, how they’ll look, what a mistake will mean. They challenge themselves and grow”.
So successful people grow. They are willing to accept change, get out of there comfort zone and learn from failure.
As a mom, you can change the same obstacles that slow you down as fuel to keep you going. For example, many may fear screwing up because they have kids that rely on them, so they rather wait until the children are grown to start taking chances.
Whereas, another mom with a different mindset may strive for opportunities and take chances because her family is her motivation.

12. She is Resourceful
Resourceful: having the ability to find quick and clever ways to overcome difficulties.
I was listening to Tony Robbins on YouTube, and there were some things he said that made me think.
What are your limited resources? TIME, MONEY, EDUCATION, or LACK OF SUPPORT (knowing the right people, getting advice from other who been there, accountability partner)
Based on that answer: how can you become more resourceful? How can you use what you got to get what you want?
There is always someone who is missing something and still make moves.
Tony mentioned he grew up poor and with limited resources, but he was resourceful.
To succeed in life, you should stride high and reach for your ideal life. Create a life that would work towards success so you can become rich, happy and successful in life.
