How to Feel Content in Your life Without Settling
There are many ways to feel content in life. All without settling for less, when you know you want more.
Being content to me seems like a fine line.
Maybe because when used to discuss relationships or jobs, the phrase “I’m happy at my job” or “I’m content with this guy” doesn’t sound convincing.
So let dive into what being content means and what it is not. More importantly, steps to take to feel content in life and still strive for more.
What it means to Feel Content?

Being content could be an overall feeling of fulfillment in life.
According. to webster, being content is “feeling or showing satisfaction with one’s possessions, status, or situation.”
So feeling content can be geared to your job, your accomplishments, or your life choices.
This means you can be content in one area of your life and not the other. But most people are looking to be content in life overall.
So does contentment equate to happiness? One of google common questions is, ” can you be content in life and not happy?
Does Feeling Content Equate to Happiness?

Well, some look at happiness as a threshold to a content life. But being content is long-lasting, and happiness comes and goes.
I love how the article “The Incredible Power of Contentment” explained that people see contentment and happiness as synonyms. And in some ways, it’s true, but overall, happiness is a mood you experience that could contribute to feeling content.
Whereas the term “contentment” refers to a feeling of satisfaction with what you have or where you are currently. Rather than it simply being a mood.
To feel this way, focus on the things that make you feel good about yourself or contribute to your life in some manner to experience these emotions. Make a list of all the wonderful things in your life and check it once a day, if necessary.
So can Contentment Bad Thing?
I guess it’s all in context.
I personally don’t think contentment is bad unless it is coming from a place of settlement. For example, being content at your job because you don’t know if you could find something better.
In the black community, it’s the saying ” the grass isn’t greener on the other side,” which in some aspects put limits on your mindset and growth, thus not trying to improve one’s situation.

Manifesting is not as difficult as many people think it is, but it does require some effort on your part. Remember that you are not working against anything or anyone. You are working with the Universe to bring you what you desire.
First of all, set your goal before you begin the manifesting process. By far, this is the most important step. You won’t get far if you don’t know what it is you want exactly, when you want it and why.
Understand that manifesting doesn’t happen overnight. It takes time for energy to build up in a certain direction and then release itself into the universe. Be patient with yourself and the manifestation process
